Sahitya Akademi declared Yuva Puraskar and Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2025. Yuva Puraskar was presented to 23 young writers. Bal Sahitya Puraskar was awarded to 24 child writers. The awards were set to appreciate exemplary literary works in 24 Indian languages. All these prizes are to encourage young literary ingenuity and raise linguistic variety.

  • In 2025 the Sahitya Akademi introduced the Yuva Puraskar and Bal Sahitya Puraskar honoring 23 young writers and 24 child writers respectively.

    • Sahitya Akademi was founded in 1952 and inaugurated in 1954, as the National Academy of Letters in India.
